This Privacy Policy describes the policies of Associated Music Teachers League Inc. – AMTL,  United States of America, email: info@amtl.org, on the collection, use and disclosure of your information that we collect when you use our website ( https://amtl.org ). (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you are consenting to the collection, use and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.       We will collect and process the following personal information about you, if You are using the forms to become a member, renew membership, apply to an event, concert, competition:

      • Name
      • Email
      • Phone
      • Age if 21 or above
      • Address
      • Educational, professional and status background information like: Membership, Instrument, Training, Teaching, Performer, Applicants role, Accompanist’s name, Repertoire, Link information to youtube publications.

       

    2. How We Use Your Information:

      We will use the information that we collect about you for the following purposes:

      • Processing payment
      • Support
      • Membership
      • Application

       

      If we want to use your information for any other purpose, we will ask you for consent and will use your information only on receiving your consent and then, only for the purpose(s) for which grant consent unless we are required to do otherwise by law.

      All payment data is stored by our payment processors Paypal, and you should review their Privacy Policies and contact the payment processor directly to respond to your questions. AMTL uses this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you.

      AMTL will not provide your Data to any third-party or permit any third-party to access your Data, except with your permission or to comply with valid legal requirements such as a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena, or court order.

       

    3. Retention Of Your Information:

      We will retain your personal information with us for 30 days after user terminate theyr membership or participation or for as long as we need it to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected as detailed in this Privacy Policy. We may need to retain certain information for longer periods such as record-keeping / reporting in accordance with applicable law or for other legitimate reasons like enforcement of legal rights, fraud prevention, etc. Residual anonymous information and aggregate information, neither of which identifies you (directly or indirectly), may be stored indefinitely.

      Depending on the law that applies, you may have a right to access and rectify or erase your personal data or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to the active processing of your data, ask us to share (port) your personal information to another entity, withdraw any consent you provided to us to process your data, a right to lodge a complaint with a statutory authority and such other rights as may be relevant under applicable laws.       AMTL follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

    12. Policy Regarding Children:

      AMTL Websites is not designed for use by children under the age of 16. As such, AMTL Websites are not directed at children under the age of 16 nor do we knowingly collect information from children under the age of 16.

       

    13. Children’s Information:

      Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

      AMTL does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

      We make every effort to ensure the security and protection of the data we transfer. We are committed to protecting the privacy of personal data and adherence to Global Data Protection laws.

      Data Privacy Rights.     18. Web-Fonts

      For uniform representation of fonts, this page uses web fonts provided by Google Fonts & Font Awesome. The AMTL website is designed that fonts are primarily loaded locally, only when necessary from Google Fonts & Font Awesome Web fonts.
