Last Highlights of the Season: NYYPP & Honors Concerts

The Associated Music Teachers League is a tax-exempt non-profit 501(c)(3) music organization founded in New York City in 1925.
Our membership consists of professional musicians, music teachers, university and conservatory faculty and students, and performing artists.

We welcome individuals, organizations, and businesses to join us as both active Members or Donate.

Winter Musicales

Winter Musicales

Beginning in 1992, the Winter Musicales has been the first seasonal student performance event of the Associated Music Teachers League.

The Luba Galpern Mid-Season Musicales is an annual concert of video auditioned participants presented by the AMTL to provide an opportunity for students from intermediate to advanced levels to showcase their performances.

New York Young Performers Prize (NYYPP)

New York Young Performers Prize (NYYPP)

The New York Young Performers Prize (NYYPP) offers a unique musical experience for students of all instruments. Young pianists and string players as well as vocalists will strive for a level of expertise and monetary prizes at an online event viewed by international audiences.

The most outstanding participants from our range of events are invited to perform in the Honors Concert Gala, which concludes the AMTL’s series of musical activities of the season.

Fundraiser Concerts

“Children helping children through music”

Our student musicians were performing at the SAJ in New York, broadcast live via Zoom to raise desperately needed funds to help Ukrainian children. Our young musicians’ mission is to offer hope and a moment of relief for Ukrainian children, and to remind them that they are not alone or forgotten!!
